November 17, 2016 ·. RAF REGIMENT BASIC TRAINING RELOCATES TO RAF HALTON. Basic Training for Royal Air Force Regiment Gunners has recently been relocated to RAF Halton and out of 62 airmen Graduating on Douglas Intake last week, 17 of them were destined for RAF Honington Phase 2 Training. The first Gunner graduated on 6 July 16.

RAF initial training takes place at RAF Halton in Buckinghamshire. This phase of training is designed to show what the RAF is all about.
