2 hours agoI recommend reading College Algebra by Stitz and Zeager. Their book is very useful and covers many of the weak spots Khan Academy has in math. Although Khan Academy is great, this book provides a fresh approach to precalculus. Furthermore, it is open source material (as it says on their site), so it is free to use. Preview

7 hours agoYour local community college should have remedial (aka developmental) math courses. Many even have a basic math course that covers basic arithmetic. Typical remedial courses are basic math then pre-algebra then elementary algebra then intermediate algebra. If khan academy doesn’t do it for you, then try your community college. Preview

Just NowHaven't tried algebra 1 specifically, but I tried doing that with algebra 2 and pre-calc before going into calc. My experience is that videos are not an efficient way to get all the info. The best way is to have a physical textbook, you can skim over the parts you know well or that are blaringly obvious and delve into the parts that you don't get. Preview
