I started him a new Khan academy account when we started and had him work through everything from the beginning. 45 days later and he has finished K-5th grade and a good chunk of 6th grade as well as most of arithmetic. Hello, I'm Danny a middle school math teacher. It depends on the student. It also depends on the length of time they have been exposed to Khan. For example in a 6th grade class of 24 students (low-income, minority, 50% ELL) about 6 students completed 100% of the 6th grade mission and over 90% of the Arithmetic Mission.
